How to transfer Contacts from old phone to Lumia

New on Windows Phone ? First thing you can do to get start with is importing contacts, text-messages and images from your old phone with  "Transfer my data" app. This app comes pre-installed in Windows phones but if its not there in your phone you can download it Windows Store for Free.

Before you start note that:

1. Your old phone needs to support Bluetooth.
2. The contacts in your old phone need to be stored  in phone memory, not in SIM card (If contacts are in SIM card memory move them to phone memory first).

  Transfer Contacts in Windows Phones

To copy contacts from your old phone to Lumia:

1. Switch Bluetooth ON, in your old phone and make sure it is visible to all.
2. On the start screen on your new (windows) phone, swipe left, and tab "Transfer my data" app.
3. Tap continue and switch Bluetooth ON
4. Select your Old phone from list, and follow the instructions shown on both phones.
