Counter Strike "Fatal error"

"Fatal error" This is most common error for both Counter Strike Condition Zero and Counter Strike 1.6. It usually appears when the user tries to run for the first time after installation. It show an  insufficient memory error and fails to launch game.

Error:

Fatal error - Available memory less than 15 MB.

Solution:

• Right Click on shortcut icon of Counter Strike and Select Properties.
• Click on Comparability Tab
  
  
• Tick the "Run this program in compatibility mode for:"
• Click Apply and then OK
• try running Counter Strike again. It should run without any error now.
